Customers Give High Marks for Service and Training; 100% Would Refer VTS to Others

DEER PARK, NY (11/14/08) — Vehicle Tracking Solutions (VTS), a leading provider of automatic vehicle location (AVL) and fleet monitoring solutions, today announced that the company has received outstanding ratings for service, sales and support by its customers through its newly enacted STaR (Service, Training, and Responsiveness) Program designed to gather feedback and ensure continued excellence in customer service.

On a scale of 1 to 5, with 5 being the best, VTS received a 4.9 monthly average rating on overall quality of service since the program began in May 2008. In addition, 100% of respondents in the program said they would recommend VTS to another company. The average rating for the entire program is 4.8.

"We’ve been extremely pleased with the results of our STaR Program,” said John M. Cunningham Jr., president of Vehicle Tracking Solutions. “Not only have they given us very high marks, but they have also provided us with excellent suggestions that we will use for future product enhancements."

As part of the STaR Program, a VTS representative contacts each customer approximately six weeks after they’ve signed on for one of the company’s fleet monitoring solutions. Customers are asked to rate their experience on issues such as ease of paperwork, overall sales process, timeliness of installation, knowledge and courtesy of installation technician, and the VTS training program. They may also offer additional feedback on other issues, share their experiences with the company or request additional training if needed.

This means that the system you choose must work for you,” Cunningham said. “Our customers want the confidence of knowing they have chosen a fleet management provider that is consistently there to answer their questions or resolve issues. The STaR Program is one way we can be sure that we are providing the best service in the industry."

Customers report an average of 11% to 13% fuel cost savings with the implementation of a VTS system. In addition to fuel costs, VTS customers can also minimize overtime costs and lower insurance premiums, as well as realize improved service or delivery efficiencies – all factors that result in a rapid return on investment.

VTS provides multiple monitoring options that allow customers to view fleet status and track moving vehicles in real-time, and even check vehicle status via a web-enabled cell phone with VTS Mobile. The company recently launched its new Silent Passenger system, a web-based application that integrates VTS’ GPS-based vehicle tracking solutions with detailed, current maps from Microsoft Virtual Earth to incorporate up-to-date traffic information and turn-by-turn driving directions.
