Victory Lane Quick Oil Change is now registered for franchising its Oil & Lube & Car Wash centers in throughout the United States. Located in Ann Arbor, Michigan, Victory Lane has been operating continuously since 1980. According to Founder and President Derrick Oxender, “With the completion of registration in all states except South Dakota, Victory Lane is primed to expand rapidly with single and master franchisees.

Victory Lane has a distinct advantage over other national firms and independents. Over the last two years, national contracts have been negotiated with suppliers that now allow all units to buy products at cost. “This allows our units to break even at about 25 cars per day while our competition requires 32-35 cars a day to break even says Oxender. The lower cost of goods is a huge advantage in our competitive business.”

Victory Lane has also innovated facility features like zip pits and waste oil heaters. Zip pits are 28” deep troughs with a “creeper” on rails that allows technicians to slide forward to service the incoming vehicles. This technology reduces cost and time of construction. About half of the oil collected during cold months is burned in waste oil heaters. The remainder is sold for $.75/gallon.
