FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Massage Envy Opens First Clinic in Nebraska

October 27, 2005 - OMAHA, Neb – Massage Envy® Limited, LLC, a national franchisor of massage clinics, today announced the opening of its first membership-based clinic in Nebraska at The Shops of Legacy in Omaha.

“At Massage Envy, our goal is to make therapeutic massage affordable, accessible and convenient for everyone,” said Les Snyder, Massage Envy clinic co-owner. “We know everyone has stressful days and our membership approach enables us to offer low prices so everyone can enjoy a professional massage.”

The clinic will employ nearly 20 massage therapists and staff, and is working with area massage therapy schools to recruit and hire their alumni.

“With so many massage therapists, our customers are able to choose from more than 4,000 appointment times per month,” Snyder said.

Massage Envy offers six and twelve-month memberships for $49 a month, which all include a one-hour massage session. Members also receive additional one-hour massage sessions for $39 and other reduced rates at Massage Envy clinics nationwide.

Non-members can also use Massage Envy’s services. Massage Envy offers all first-time customers an introductory one-hour massage session for $39.

Snyder has managed membership-based businesses since 1980, most recently serving as COO and general manager of The Omaha Country Club. Co-owner Stacey Kramer has been in human resources management for 15 years.

“We are excited to bring this fresh approach to health to Omaha. We have experienced massage for ourselves and the deep relaxation and healthful benefits it brings. People will be truly surprised how they will feel with regular massage. I have met people across the country who have had debilitating pain that experience phenomenal relief through different types and techniques of massage,” Kramer said.

The clinic is located in The Shops of Legacy (168th and Center) at 16902 Wright Plaza, Ste. 175. Clinic hours are Monday through Friday 8 a.m.-10 p.m., Saturday 8 a.m.-6 p.m. and Sunday 10 a.m.-6 p.m. Contact 402.898.ENVY for more information.
