Marlborough Community Welcomes Dippin' Dots(R) Store
MARLBOROUGH, Mass., July 22 /PRNewswire/ --

fastest-growing young franchise company's newest store opens this
weekend in Marlborough.
Grand Opening events begin Friday, August 5 at 11:00am with a
ribbon- cutting ceremony featuring Mayor Dennis Hunt and Chamber of
Commerce Representatives. Activities continue from noon until 3:00
Saturday and will include giveaways every 15 minutes, contests and
free ice cream.
Franchise owners Paul and Tracy Sivo, Dippin' Dots ice cream fans
for several years, chose to open a store in Marlborough to make the
ice cream more available to customers in Massachusetts and Rhode
Island.
"We have had a great response from the public," Tracy Sivo said."[They] are very excited to have Dippin' Dots in their area." Paul
Sivo, a corrections officer, and Tracy, a Registered Nurse, say
they're excited about the opportunity to start their own business
with a unique and popular product like Dippin' Dots.
The Solomon Pond Mall location offers more than a dozen flavors of
Dippin' Dots(R) ice cream, sherbet, yogurt and ice. In addition, the
new location features Dot Delicacies(TM), a line of products which
includes Dippin' Dots(R) ice cream cakes and Dotwich(TM) ice cream
sandwiches. Dippin' Dots Dot Delicacies(TM) were recently awarded
the International Dairy Association's "Best in Show" award for
excellence in the dairy field.
